The Wing Heong brand of dried meat had its beginnings in the early 1970s with its founder, Mr. Mun Wing, embarking on a rigorous product testing exercise among family and friends to come up with the ultimate recipe. Mr. Mun experimented with numerous recipes, particularly for sliced pork meat – a Wing Heong specialty before settling on one that today is much loved by customers.

In 1972, he launched his first outlet at 120, Jalan Imbi, which is still run today as it was over 30 years ago. Since then, the third generation of the family have expanded the business with new outlets in SS2, Petaling Jaya(2000), Sri Petaling (2005) and Bukit Tinggi in Klang in 2006.

永香-歷史悠久的品牌
自1970年，永香的原创者，文永先生为了成立肉干行业而尝试了许多配方以便可以制成深受大众喜爱的肉干口味。最终的成功秘方可说得来不易，因为它是经过亲朋好友无数次的尝试而取得的。

于1972年，他终于在燕美路门牌一二零开始了他的肉干事业。至今，这门事业拥有长达三十余年的历史。永香的第三代承续人为了扩展这门家族事业而成立分行于八打灵再也（2000年），大城堡（2005年），以及巴生武吉丁宜（2006年）。
